If the vehicle will not start, call for a boost first. That solves a surprising number of calls. If it starts but is not safe to drive, you need a tow. If you cannot get into it, that is a lockout.
When you are not sure, just call and describe what happened. We will tell you which one applies, including when the answer is that you do not need us at all.
Do you charge to come out and look?
