What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technology, called local storage, keeps small settings on your device.

Off unless you allow them

This site only uses analytics cookies if you choose “Allow analytics”. If you choose “No thanks”, or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and sets no cookies.

Right now analytics is not switched on, so this site sets no cookies at all and you will not see a cookie banner. If we turn analytics on, the banner will ask you first.

What we use

Name	Set by	What it does	How long	Needs your OK?
`mg-consent` (local storage)	This website	Remembers whether you allowed analytics, so we don’t ask on every page. Never sent anywhere.	Until you clear it	No, it is needed to respect your choice
`mg-crc-seen` (session storage)	This website	Remembers that you have seen the collision guide popup, so it shows only once per visit. Never sent anywhere.	Until you close the tab	No, it only stops the popup repeating
`_ga`	Google Analytics	Tells one visit from another, so we can count visitors	2 years	Yes
`_ga_<ID>`	Google Analytics	Keeps track of a visit while it is in progress	2 years	Yes

We do not use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking cookies.

Fonts and other outside services

The site’s typeface is stored on this website. Our host, Cloudflare, counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Nothing from any other company loads unless you allow analytics.

Changing your choice

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, or the button above. If you withdraw consent, we switch analytics off and remove its cookies from this site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings, or use Google’s analytics opt-out browser add-on.
