Towing in Orléans, Ottawa
Along the 174 and through Avalon, Fallingbrook and Chapel Hill. The east end is covered 24 hours a day.
Orléans is Ottawa’s east end, strung along Highway 174 and the Ottawa River. Nearly everything here depends on one highway, which shapes the kind of calls we get.
Highway 174 is the whole story
Highway 174 is the only major route in and out of Orléans, and when something happens on it the effect is immediate. It is also where most of our east-end highway calls come from.
In winter it gets wind off the river and open exposed stretches that drift over quickly. Visibility can drop with very little warning. If you go off the road here, stay in the vehicle with your seatbelt on unless it is unsafe, keep the exhaust clear of snow, and call us.
Residential Orléans
Avalon, Fallingbrook, Chapel Hill, Queenswood Heights and Convent Glen are standard suburban work for us: no-starts, lockouts, flat tires and driveway winch-outs after a storm.
Orléans also has a high proportion of households with more than one vehicle, so we are regularly called to move a second car, a seasonal vehicle or something that has been parked for months. Those are best booked in advance rather than called in as an emergency.
Out past the city edge
East of Orléans the city thins out quickly into Navan, Sarsfield and Cumberland. Roads are narrower, shoulders are softer and lighting disappears. Soft-shoulder recoveries are common out here, especially in spring.
We cover these areas, but they add distance. Give us the nearest crossroads and any landmark you can see, because rural addresses are often hard to locate at night.
Service in French
Orléans has a large francophone community. If you would rather do the call in French, say so when you ring and we will do our best to accommodate you.

I slid off the 174 in a snowstorm. What should I do?

Do you go out to Navan and Cumberland?
